I just took a little trip down memory lane, something I havent permitted myself to do lately. I watched some old videos from the last year. I’ve tried really hard not to let myself get too caught up in my memories and instead to try and create meaning and memories out of the life I’m living now. The trouble is I dont think I know yet how to carry the people I love and the times we shared together with me in a way that respects both the past and the present. How can I keep alive, the feeling of being with people who made me feel intoxicated, memories of people who filled me with life and insatiable laughter, without feeling their abscence as loss?
